About the owner of K9 Paw Control

Hello everyone, my name is Channa Cansler. I am the owner and Lead trainer at K9 Paw Control!

A little bit about me- I’m married, and live in a house near the Urban/Country area. I have 1 beautiful Lab//Pitbull/Hound-dog mix, 1 Mini Aussie and 2 very stubborn-headed but beautiful cats. When the opportunity arises, I go on adventures with my family. I am a very outdoorsy, adventurous person, and my dogs go pretty much everywhere with me. 

My love for animals came about as I was growing up. I owned animals at every age. However the only animal I had consistently, were dogs. The more I got to know the personalities of each individual dog, the more I grew to love them. Originally, I strived to be a veterinarian, but then realized that some of the aspects of being a vet just didn’t line up with things I enjoyed. I knew I wanted something to do with animals but the more I dug into the “why” of it, the more I realized that it had originally stemmed from consistently having dogs. So dog training it was! I pursued dog training and fell in love with the job and hobby. My love for animals did nothing but grow as I got older! I love all animals, as I grew up with them, but dogs specifically were the one thing that helped me as I grew up, so I knew I wanted to help them in return.

I have been training for the past 3 years and 2 of those years have been with one of the top dog training companies in all of California! I'm seeking out the opportunity to help others learn how to make a more livable lifestyle by inserting a more balanced, effective, enriched training that will help both dogs and owners feel more comfortable in their day to day life and possibly more! While your dog is with me they are treated as though they are a part of the family and nothing less!
