Our Philosophy at k-9 paw control

 Hello everyone, my name is Channa Cansler, and I am the owner and trainer at K-9 Paw Control! A little bit about me…I’m a mother of 3 and a military spouse. At home I have 2 dogs, a beautiful Lab/Pitbull/Hound mix and a Mini Aussie, as well as 2 very stubborn but beautiful cats. I am a very outdoorsy and adventurous person, and my dogs go pretty much everywhere with me.

I have been passionate about animals my entire life, growing up surrounded by them at every stage of my childhood. But of all the animals I was around, I was particularly drawn to dogs. The more I got to know the personalities of each individual dog, the more I grew to love them. I knew that I wanted to do something for a living that had to do with animals, but the more I dug into the details, the more I realized that dogs were my true passion, so dog training seemed to be the perfect fit! I pursued dog training and fell in love with the job.

I have been training professionally for the past 3 years and 2 of those years were with one of the top dog training companies in California! Since starting this career, I have particularly enjoyed the opportunity to help others learn how to enrich their lifestyle by inserting balanced, effective, and enriched training that helps both dogs and owners feel more comfortable in their day-to-day life. While your dog is with me, they are treated as though they are a part of the family and nothing less!
